Hello!
After a month of being terrible and not posting anything new, I have finally got round to publishing some work and taken the time out to write about where I am at, at the minute.
Firstly, below are a few examples of work I did, mainly during my time at Telford College, in my Illustration course. I (for pretty much the first time ever) am really happy with the way my portfolio looks at the moment, so am happy to show a few examples on here, with a lot more uploaded on my Facebook page if anyone is interested.
Also, because things have been so hectic, I thought I would explain what I am up to now, and for the next year...
NEWCASTLE:
Well, I have been accepted to do a postgrad course at Newcastle University, working towards an MA Art Museum and Gallery qualification. I am absolutely delighted, although terrified! I am going to be very, very busy for the next year or so as a result, but am determined to keep my drawing, painting and illustration work up to speed, and this blog seems like a good place to log everything I get up to. So stay tuned!
LATEST PROJECT:
I am at the beginning stages of an illustration project - a Scottish fairy tale adventure story - and am really excited about it!
I have been asked to initially create character illustrations for the story, which, if approved, will perhaps lead to me creating images throughout the book, and would result in my first paid commission and independent Illustration project!! :D
I will definitely update on this as soon as it is underway. I'm too excited to keep it to myself!

Your portfolio is looking stunning m'dear, I especially like that scary one with the claws, and the bird with the buckie! Good luck with newcastle, the new project and everything else :)
